Our new National Day
Today is the People's Republic of China's 56th National Day, which I think is also about to become the National Day of choice for the Chinese Nationalist Party and the People First Party here in Taiwan. The reasoning behind the idea is that since the KMT and the PFP want to join hands with their erstwhile death enemy, the Communist Party of China, to prevent Taiwanese independence, the Double 10 National Day has served its purpose and is now obsolete.
