Surprise
This morning, we didn't get the Economic Daily, one of the three daily's we read, so Lady D called them up and told them so. After an hour or so, the door bell rang, and when I asked over the door phone what it was all about, I was told that they were delivering the paper. So I ran downstairs and opened the door, and the guy handed over the paper.
Then with a loud "Huh!?" he took two steps back, looking almost frightened. "Bet ya' you didn't expect that,' I told him. "No." That was surely the first time he ever delivered a Chinese paper to a foreigner.
