Earthquakes
Another earthquake two days ago. The owners of this car were lucky to get away alive.
It wasn't big enough to feel when you were up and moving, but sitting down, you certainly felt it. I can never really get used to the earth moving like this since
the big earthquake on September 21, 1999 which killed over 2,000 people and scared the living daylights out of me and lady d.
it's a hell of a way to wake up in the middle of the night, everything shaking, nay, vibrating in every direction, things coming crashing down off the walls and shelves and every car alarm within earshot going off. horrible. we spent the night in the car out on a crowded highway far away from any buildings that could fall over in an aftershock. so many people had had the same idea that we hardly found a place to park the car.
